I've been away from the universe since May 18th so I could deal with moving into our new house and get settled before the baby came, all in the same 2 weeks. Crazy. So now that the dust has settled, I am so excited to get back to this blog and all the crafts and projects I've hoarded in the basement. I've got a whole house full of tutorials and projects I can't wait to share, Lilly's birthday party planning, this little guy's birth story, a thousand photos, a house tour, and Etsy updates! Exciting!!

9lb 11oz isn't all that enormous in the grand scheme of things. I was 9lb 9oz, my brother was 9lb 11oz and my sister was 9lb 13oz, and my mother is only 5' 1½" (she's very protective of the ½"). Besides, they do say that bigger babies are likely to fare better academically, so you've given the little nipper a good head start in life!
ReplyDeleteLilly was 9lb 6oz, so I think Andrew and I just make toddler-sized babies! I love a bigger baby, especially with fat-creased legs and dimply knuckles. A lot of other mom's I've been meeting while out and about have had a 9lb+ baby, so I'm glad I'm in good company!
